Today’s Portsmouth Daily Times editorial page had a story by Sam Piatt about guys who were poaching deer around Roy Rogers Road. The "caller" wished to remain "anonymous" to avoid any possible reprecussions. So, Sam, in his infinite wisdom says "They dumped two dead deer on his property" (That being the guy who wanted to be anonymous). He said the "Caller" was mad about it and gave the names of two people who he thought might be responsible.

Sam, did you stop to think that the guys who poached the deer might know whose property they dropped them off at. Let’s just hope for his sake they aren’t "Gambino Family" or "Gatti’s Boys" :roll:

I read Sams articles every week, and im sure he didnt relize what he did.

you see this same stuff on news all the time…

the other night on channel 3,or 13..they was talking to someone that did not want to be known..but showed her home,and where the damage was done on it…she siad she did not want anyone knwoing SHE was talking to the news,or police

I don’t blame Sam on this one. The "caller" called Sam, not vice versa. If you want to remain anonymous, you call the Ohio Division of Wildlife (game protector)… NOT the NEWSPAPER. :122249

If they didn’t want to be known then they should have just stuck to talking to the police. That always kills me, someone wants to talk to a reporter on Tv or at the Newspaper but they don’t want people to know for fear of retaliation. How stupid!!!
